Ewe Hey Yansa!
AYIBOBO!

Thank you, Green Dragons, for my cup of light roast coffee this morning! First, This morning's "cuppa, plus"* continues to be a delightfully *express* caffeine delivery. Although I ordered via standard post, "the lighter the bean, the more caffeine," and my delight is the flavor's being light *with body* and a *hint* of sweetness.

I was excited to taste (and support) what Ayiti and Pittsburgh have to offer. Both locations are close to my heart: my grandfather and grandmother settled in what is now known as South Park about 90 years ago; I have always been encouraged by Haiti's people making themselves independent against many, many odds. The fact that coffee is being grown there successfully is no small feat, either, considering the country's topsoil issues of the 1990s, before and beyond (http://www.nytimes.com/1991/06/12/world/once-leafy-land-is-now-haitian-dust-bowl.html, https://www.ecowatch.com/how-your-choice-of-chocolate-can-help-reforest-haiti-1917552951.html).

Ekselan travay, nou tout / Excellent work, y'all, especially today, as Hurricane Irma tears through the Caribbean nations with 195 mph winds. GDC, I am hopeful that your purchase of Haitian coffee beans continues - for your prosperity, for Haitian prosperity.

Best,
L. Bowen Atkins, proprietor

Excellent

I was surprised that the beans had only been roasted a few days before receiving my sample. I ordered whole beans and received enough to make a single pot after grinding. The flavor was wonderful. It wasn't burnt and it was truly unique. I will definitely be trying more coffee from Green Dragon.
